Sharp is an Rochester native, who was educated in clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. Also, she played piano and cello. Sharp received a tuition grant towards The Boston Conservatory for her passion for school theater. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey to the stage. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with writer August Wilson himself. Sharp's work is not limited to stage or screen. Sharp has written and co-written several projects. In addition to singing, Sharp is making an album. Sharp is a fitness enthusiast and stays in great shape by studying Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles, California with her family.
