Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the 2012 presidential election as well as 2016. Bolduan also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. As a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit and the super committee deliberations. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision regarding Obamacare and the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a correspondent national with CNN Newsource. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she broke breaking news stories to the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided news reports on features. Her previous assignments included NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. She currently lives in New York City along with her husband, two kids and parents.
