Chamberlain was the daughter of flight coordinator Sophia Pinetree Chamberlain, and artist Michael John Chamberlain, on May 22, 2001 in San Bruno, California. Chamberlain was the sole child of her divorced parents. In a 2018 interview with Forbes, Chamberlain said that although she was raised in the well-off, largely wealthy city of San Francisco, her family faced financial hardships during her childhood. Chamberlain said that her family was dependent on the skills of her father, and had to go through "hard times" when he fell ill. Her school was Central Middle School in San Carlos, California, and Notre Dame High School, Belmont, which is an all-girls Catholic preparatory school where she was part of the track and cheerleading teams. For five years, she was a cheerleader as well as an active member of the California All Stars Pink cheer squad. [10] She graduated from high school after passing the California High School Exit Exam.
